I tried to swap the shoes around and between me doing that and rotation of the camera, the picture gives the wrong impression.
The wear is on the back outside heel of my left shoe.
Thanks again for the responses and feedback on my numbers. Yes, I would agree that speed/pace does play a big part so I would have to do that. When I am running for top-speed I tend to heel strike even more. However, I cannot say I have the best data on that; I use to run with the pop on the laces, and it would give much different results than the heel, and the heel seems better so I have been doing that mount lately.
Also, I do take the runs with orthotics with a note, but was thinking I should have put them in as a different shoe all together. Once I start wearing them again, that is my plan. That way the data isn't shared at all between those and I can start getting better numbers/comparisons.
I do have access to a treadmill -- but I hate it. So, I like the idea of the track better. That being said, letting the treadmill control my pace may make the data more consistent.
