I've been a RunScribe user for about 3 months now. I have bad knees and bought it primarily to monitor shock numbers - and pleased to say that with the aid of a run coach, I've made tremendous progress in this area - reduced my shock and impact numbers by about 50%. In the community comparison, I used to be a HIGH now I'm consistently a LOW.
Now I'm looking at how to improve my efficiency where I invariably score a LOW. What changes should I change to my technique or fitness to improve these numbers?
a) I used to be a heel striker now I'm mid foot - but doesn't seem to have made any difference to my efficiency numbers.
b) I am pretty symmetrical - no major differences between left and right
b) I run at a cadence of between 175 and 180. This is pretty consistent whether I am running an easy (10 min/mile) pace or a tempo (8:30) pace
c) at the moment, I am running mainly on treadmills due to the bad weather.
Appreciate your help!
