The training plan I follow has quite a few phases per workout, sometimes strides and easy or threshold and walking etc.
It seems that Runscribe is trying to average things out a bit.
My workout last night was warm up (mix of running and walking (starting with running to wake the Runscribes)), 10min easy pace, 6 lots of strides (20s fast running followed by 1m walk), 13m20s of threshold, 2m walk, another 13m20s threshold, 10m easy and cool down 3m30s walk.
My Runscribe graphs show me as running slower than I was but walking a lot faster.
this is the total workout
this is the first threshold section and the subsequent walk
here is the same section from polar flow.
This is the workout on polar flow https://flow.polar.com/training/analysis/1539587482
As you can see the pace is different on them. This does happen on all of my runs so I am only really able to use the Runscribe to assess shock, pronation and foot stike, which is a shame.
Do others have similar problems.
I am not sure how to make a Runscribe workout public for everyone to compare, so please let me know then anyone interested can have a look.
I really like the Runscribes and I am hoping the accuracy problems can be addressed.
