Tim and Alan, thank you for your replies. I know that information on the link given. My expectation is that there is further documentation telling / showing (in a picture ideally) what the difference is between a foot strike reported by Runscribe as 8 and 13 for example. I am also not clear how you define forefoot strike, you land on your forefoot but how do you differentiate between such a landing after which the heel still touches the ground to leverage more on stretch shortening cycles and a forefoot strike that does not end in having the heel touch the floor.
Another important point for me is the Pronation Excursion. OK, I get an angle reported but what I don’t get, is the position of my foot at landing. The foot may be very much inverted and potentially not even become everted (no pronation at all), yet I get a good pronation excursion.
Not sure if you see my point. I get interesting metrics but thought through in detail, there is relevant information missing to really make the metrics useful
